Student Access to Software

As a student you have access to discounts on software that you may need for projects and can use for your own learning. Below are a few instances of software access directly related to being a CS student at Western.

Azure Dev Tools for Education Information

Azure Dev Tools for Education Login.

Western Washington Computer Science department participates with the Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Education program. This allows for students to utilize select Microsoft Software for educational purposes (Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Agreement). This includes things such as Windows, Visual Studio, Access, Windows Server, SQL Server, VMWare, and so on. It does not include access to licenses of the Office Suite, though for that purpose we recommend looking at LibreOffice.org, or the University might have something.

Sign into Azure Dev Tools for Education for access to software provided through Microsoft. Select the area for students, and Imagine Premium for the software. Software is only available while you are enrolled in a class and cannot be downloaded at any other time. We do not update the enrollment information until the end of the second week of the quarter, this is the end of Phase III registration.

Software is only available while you are enrolled in a CS course.
